If you’ve ever seen the dreamy, scroll-stopping photos coming out of a Haus of Blanc shoot and thought, “How do they pull that off?” — this one’s for you.
Let’s be real — a brand shoot isn’t just about showing up with a camera and hoping for the best. There’s a whole creative process behind each session, and today we’re giving you a peek at what really happens before, during, and after the shoot.
Here’s how we make the magic happen:

1. We Start with Strategy
Every shoot kicks off with a strategy session. We chat with our client (usually over coffee — virtual or in-person!) and get to know their business, brand story, goals, and vision.
We want to understand:
Who are you trying to reach?
What feeling should your photos evoke?
Where will these images be used — website, socials, ads?
This convo sets the tone for everything that follows. No cookie-cutter shoots here — it’s all about building visuals that are so you.

2. Mood Boards, Shot Lists & The Vibe Check
Once we’re aligned on the strategy, we get into the visual planning stage. Think: Pinterest boards, colour palettes, pose inspo, location scouting — the works.
We also create a shot list so we’re organised on the day (and don’t miss any must-have content!).
This is where we really bring the vibe to life — playful, minimal, editorial, romantic — whatever suits the brand best.
3. Runsheets
Once we’ve locked in the vibe, it’s time to get organised. That’s where the shoot rundown comes in.
We map out exactly what’s happening and when—down to each outfit change, shot setup, location move, and key moments we need to capture. This helps everything flow smoothly on the day, keeps us on track with time, and ensures we get all the shots you need (and then some).
Think of it as your shoot-day game plan. It keeps everyone aligned and allows us to move with purpose, while still leaving room for those spontaneous, magic-in-the-moment shots.

4. Shoot Day Energy
Shoot day is our fave part — and yes, we keep it fun, light-hearted and super chill (even if there are 100 things going on behind the scenes!).
We’ll guide you through every pose, make sure you’re feeling confident, and adjust as we go to get the shot.
Whether we’re in-studio, on location, or at your workspace, we make sure the day flows smoothly and the results feel authentic and elevated.
Bonus: We’re also your hype team. Always.
5. Polishing It All Up
After the shoot, we go through the images, select the best of the best, and work our editing magic. Colour grading, skin tones, lighting — all tweaked to perfection.
Then, you’ll receive a full gallery of ready-to-use images, plus guidance on how to make the most of them across your platforms. Think: social posts, banners, website refresh, launch content — you name it.

In a Nutshell…
Brand photoshoots at Haus of Blanc are about more than just pretty pictures. We’re telling your story, building trust with your audience, and helping your brand show up in the most elevated and aligned way possible.
So if you’re ready to bring your brand to life visually, you know where to find us.
Let’s create something beautiful. ✨
